The four days of the Book Fair are filled with literary talks, readings, and discussions and debates on almost every conceivable topic. In 2016, the visitor could choose from over 4,000 different events. It is a whirlwind of ideas and opinions, a fantastic mix of books and authors, knowledge and joy.

In focus 2017: Bildung and Finland

“Bildung and Cultivation” will be the main theme for the 2017 Göteborg Book Fair. Finnish literature will also play a prominent part in conjunction with Finland’s centennial as an independent nation.
