The Gothenburg Book Fair welcomes your media accreditation application for the 2026 fair, taking place at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre in Gothenburg, 24–27 September. To be eligible for accreditation, we require you to have an assignment to monitor the fair, verified by a letter of assignment from a News Editor, Editor in Chief or other relevant role. All such letters must be uploaded along with your original application.

Accreditation applications for the 2026 Fair will open in June.

Freelance Journalists 

Freelance journalists should include a letter of assignment from their clients. This should include contact details to News Editor or similar.

Bookfluencers, Influencers 

If you have a significant social media presence, and would like to share this information with us at the Gothenburg Book Fair, please apply for media accreditation according to the process described above. Instead of a letter of assignment, include a description of your social channel or channels, current number of followers, and the purpose of your channel/channels.

An Alternative to Media Accreditation 

The Gothenburg Book Fair offers journalists a complimentary one-day pass. Collect your ticket at our Press Centre (located near the main entrance). Note that we require a press card or similar identification.
