Since its founding in 1928, the Muslim Brotherhood has grown to become a global network. Anthropologist and author Florence Bergeaud-Blackler introduces the term ‘brotherism’ to describe how the movement holds sway in Europe. Her book confronts the way in which religious freedom can be exploited to influence institutions and oppress nonconformists – not least other Muslims. She will be in conversation with journalist Per Svensson.
