This autumn marks the release of the seventh instalment in the Åre Murders series, Fördrivaren [The Banisher]. Ragnar Jónasson is an award-winning Icelandic crime writer with two series of his own: Dark Iceland and Hulda. Katrín Jakobsdóttir is a former Prime Minister of Iceland and literary scholar. She and Jónasson co-wrote the crime novel Reykjavík in 2023, and their sequel Franski spítalinn [The French Hospital] will be released in September in a translation to Swedish by Arvid Nordh. Sweden and Iceland’s leading crime writers will be in conversation with Henrik Fexeus.
