Hemingway Knows Nothing by the Ukrainian poet Artur Dron’ is now out in Swedish translation; the essay collection explores what experiences of war are doing to human relationships in Ukraine. Dron’ voluntarily enlisted in February 2022 and remained in active service until the autumn of 2024, when he was wounded at the front. Poet and researcher Iryna Shuvalova’s poetry collection Кінечні пісні [Endsongs] is about the impact of Russia’s incessant attacks on daily life in Ukraine. In this encounter, the duo will be discussing Ukraine’s current situation, future, and literature. Moderator: Cecilia Hansson, author.
